The Senior Principal Architect-Sell With role is the most senior technical member of the Alliance Sales team focused on AT&T's "Sell With" (aka Co-Sell) sales motion with our Strategic Alliance Hyperscaler Partner/s. This sales organization will be responsible for growing revenue for AT&T by executing on the "Sell With" (aka Co-Sell) sales motion with AT&T's strategic Hyperscaler Alliance partner/s, primarily through the sale of Go To Market offers brought to market with the Hyperscaler partner/s. This resource shapes the clients vision and strategy and develops highly advanced/leading edge technology solutions and concepts in conjunction with AT&T's Strategic Hyperscaler Partner/s and AT&T account teams. Key Roles and Responsibilities: This position owns the technology strategy sessions with the client during their evaluation of AT&T's strategic Go To Market offers, including delivering executive presentations on how AT&T and our Hyperscaler partner/s and our broader partner ecosystem can accelerate the customers digital transformation initiatives. The position represents the senior most level of client interface responsible for creating the most compelling designs and solutions that integrate the best of AT&T services with the best of our Hyperscaler partner/s platforms and applications. As part of the Alliance Sales team, this position is responsible for developing the integrated information technology architecture for a total system solution, consisting primarily of AT&T Go To Market offers integrated with our strategic Hyperscaler partner/s platforms and services and other ecosystem partner solutions. These complex solutions impact major business processes used to manage the overall customer enterprise and this resource will need to demonstrate to the client how the technology will make a positive impact to their business processes in line with their digital transformation initiatives. This resource will participate with the customer, our Hyperscaler partner/s sales teams and AT&T sales teams in the strategic design process and will be responsible for translating business needs into technical system solutions leveraging the best of AT&T and our Hyperscaler partner/s technologies. Assists customers in the development of fully integrated systems including processors, peripherals, communications, operating systems, along with new and emerging application software. Technical emphasis will include the IoT stack from connectivity to application, the compute stack from central cloud to edge, the connectivity stack from API to circuit and 5G connectivity to 5G advanced capabilities such as network slicing, etc, along with all the required system integration. Provides expertise on the availability and viability of third party components and services, including broader partner ecosystems. Ensures third party components comply with deliverables and meet established design and performance goals and ensures design proposals meet the customers needs. Identifies, analyzes, and evaluates alternative design solutions and approves integrated systems design proposals for technical content. Assists customers in building their internal ROI models including cost and time estimates for implementation. Creates recommendations and implements new methods, techniques, and/or procedures. This position is considered a subject matter expert. - Duties directly related to making sales includes: Meeting with customers and engaging in sales activities at the customer's site; communicating with customers via phone, teleconference, e-mail, etc. related to proposed solutions/sales, etc.; traveling to and from the customers premise for the purpose of engaging in sales activities; providing subject matter expertise regarding technical issues relating to sales; advising customers on suitability of products based on technical needs; preparing proposals, presentations, or bids, including developing pricing, developing strategic plans related to the customer and the proposed solutions/sales; researching and developing customer solutions with AT&T external partners, including design and engineering; and researching customer business and industry to identify new sales opportunities. Education: Bachelors degree preferred. Experience: Typically requires 10 or more years related experience.
